My research is broadly concerned with emotions and social cognition. My primary interests include emotional reactions to other's lots, such as schadenfreude, resentment, emphatic joy, and sorrow. I am also interested in ways that gender, self-esteem or system justification influences an experience of these emotional reactions.

My other interests are: gender stereotypes and their impact on social perception.
